Summary/Abstract: To analyze offshore crime in Romania one should start with the question "is the use of offshore companies legal in Romania?"; in the present study, we will try to answer this question. The law does not distinguish between offshore companies and on-shore, thus both natural and legal persons may be shareholders or owners of offshore companies.
