Summary/Abstract: This text represents the results of research of an unknown old road. The research was done in July 2008 in the district of Yugovo village, near the town of Laki, by ‘Ongal’ Association of Anthropology, Ethnology and Folklore Studies. The road is characteristically built and can be compared with other roads in the Rhodopa Mountain. On this base we can determine the road as roman and built in the first half of the first century A.D. The excavated section is part of the bigger road which starts from the city of Philippopolis and passes across the mountain with south direction to the main road – Via Egnatia.
