Summary/Abstract: Thanks to his autobiography, Pruscak's life work is better known than that of all his contemporaries, who produced their works in the oriental languages - Arabic, Turkish and Persian. However, it is an autobiography that speaks only of his work, education and profession. Informatio.n about his private life, his family or possible descendants is rather poor. Biographers have merely been able to catalogue new manuscripts of his well known works.
