Summary/Abstract: Invasion of the Austro - Hungarian of Peja and district ceased on 12 October 1918. According to memory ofPeja residents, the city then entered together and Azem Costa Pecanac Bejta with their committee. Versailles Peace Conference 1919-1920 disregarded Albanian national requirements to correct the injustices that had been done in the past. Under the administrative and territorial division of 28 April 1922 when the division of MSKS in the so-called Region (oblasti) Peja district based in Peja mayor J.Samarxhiqin had 7 minicipalities 99 settlements and 30,900 inhabitants. In the early thirties in Peja and district more often mentioned the word "crisis", which for Peja and its district was really hard, ready for all strata of the population.
