Summary/Abstract: Although the attitude towards children with congenital anomalies and defects in Bulgaria is determined by socioeconomic, religious, and cultural beliefs, political circumstances and struggles, which themselves also put their mark as a whole in it from ancient times until the present day, cases of reactionary and negative social moods have not rarely been detected.
