Summary/Abstract: Ever since its debut in 2008, the actual economic crisis raised numerous questions on one big implication: is there a possibility that capitalism could come to an end? In this respect, the aim of my paper is to give a theoretical approach on this matter, critically explaining two of the most important theories on capitalism fall down, that of Karl Marx and that of Joseph Schumpeter.
