Summary/Abstract: During several past years the demographic situation of Poland has risen into the one of the most important challenges for the future development. Many reports being prepared on the governmental level show that the activity of the working potential – especially that of young and at the age of 50+ women is crucial. One the most effective ways that is being recommended is the implementation of a wide range of flexible forms of employment, nevertheless entrepreneurs and employers seem to be quite reluctant to do so. The article discusses the thesis that the power of such a change lies in implementing diversity management as a business model thanks to its power to stimulate demand for non-conventional groups of workers − women as well.
