Summary/Abstract: The speciality knowledge and communication is part of the inter- and intracultural communication and is influenced by the multicultural connections in study and profession. The present paper describes the purpose, content, function and volume of necessary speciality information, from a linguistic point f view of the speciality translation, of the characteristics of different communication and cultural models and their connection. It refers also to the didactic process of foreign language learning and use in different areas (study, linguistics, professions) and debates upon the question referring to the extent and type of necessary speciality field and language knowledge in the process of intercultural and professional communication.
