Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the activity of political consultants in Polish elections campaigns. The Author is particularly interested in Americanization of political consulting in P oland. The article analyses all Polish campaigns since 1989. The article is comprised of four parts. The first, introductory part concerns the methodological background: the aim and content of the analyses, along with the sources (mainly books and newspapers). The second part, ‘The American Model of Political Consulting’ presents a short history of consulting as a profession and the determinants of the American domination in the global political communication. The third, and the main part of the article, ‘The Exponents of the Americanization of Polish Political Consulting”, concentrates on the dimensions in which the process in question takes place and illustrates the arguments with numerous examples. The last part, ‘Summary’, aims at answering the following questions: where does the contemporary Polish consulting model belong and where does it go?
