Summary/Abstract: A sketch for the portrait of Nikola Dugandzija, Croatian sociologist of religion. This is the sixth in the series of ten portraits of former Yugoslav religion sociologists, who laid the foundations of modern sociology of religion in the Balkans. In addition to, the author lists ten other most important sociologists of religion: Stefica Bahtijarevic, Srdjan Vrcan, Jakov Jukic, Marko Kersevan, Nikola Skledar, Esad Cimic, Sergej Flere, Ivan Cvitkovic and Djuro Susnjic. The author, himself a midgeneration sociologist of religion, having been a friend with all – while some were also his teachers – uses informal intonation and style to describe the friendship, relationship, cooperation, and also the scope of their work as scientists. The method was also used in the sketch for a portrait of Nikola Dugandžija.
