Summary/Abstract: The analysis of the movie The Kids Are Allright, shown on 21.02.2013 at the Museum of the Romanian Peasant (MRP) in Bucureşti within the Month of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans-sexual) campaign, is a case study of the political correctness ideology in a typical manifestation – a first-time in Romania. The film is a political manifesto, an ideological propaganda instrument, an intelligently assembled mental construct, meant to illustrate an ideological thesis, a politically correct axiom, a totalitarian postulate. In this subversive fiction, postmodern manipulation mechanisms – seduction and persuasion – have replaced communist violence, repression and terror. Clandestine indoctrination proves more effective; disguised ideological discourse works more subtly than the explicit one. At stake is the abolition of Christian moral norms, legiferation of homosexuality, pornography, pedophilia, incest, adultery, as social norms, and punishment as criminals of those who shall refuse Sodom.
