Summary/Abstract: The sacrament of Eucharist constitutes the central sacrament of the Church. This paper is dedicated to the analysis of the Eucharistic dimension of the human being that is created in the image of God ( imago Trinitatis). Man can accomplish the immanent vocation and dignity of imago Dei through a sacramental, Eucharistic existence. This implies a participation in the Holy Eucharist of the Trinitarian Koinonia. Orthodox Anthropology is cosmic, liturgical and ecological. A Eucharistic worldview leads to an ecotheology that has immediate consequences for our world today. Orthodox Eucharistic culture is a healing and transformative culture.
