Witness and Mission through Martyrdom

Summary/Abstract: Before His ascension, Jesus Christ sends the apostles, according to Mt. 28, 19-20 to testify about all the things they saw. They shall fulfill at least three conditions: to travel around the world, learn the true faith and to baptize. All these actions we find in the case of the martyrs. Regarding the second claim of the mission, learning, among martyrs there were bishop, great teologians who preached the word of truth in prison and even in the death moments. Giving up their lives for an idea, means that this idea is realy worth. Last action baptism – many were baptied in prison, and after seeing the patience of the martyrs. The value of the mission acomplished by martyrs means that their relics are the Holy Mass and the Holy Table.
