Christian Mission in Literature – Christian Orthodox Aspects in Old Romanian Literary Works

Summary/Abstract: The present study deals with several aspects of the Orthodox Christian practice as they appear in two older Romanian literary works, i.e. Neagoe Basarab’s Teachings to His Son Theodosie and Dimitrie Cantemir’s The Divan or the Wise Arguing with the World. The paper will emphasize primarily Christian missionary aspects in these literary texts.
