Special economic zones in Polish investment policy after 2020

Summary/Abstract: In 2010 we often heard that SEZ should function in Poland for 5 more years to 2025. The main reason of this is to create conditions for firms to fully use fiscal privileges. The analysis in theoretical and practical models shows that time of offering financial privileges is important for the efficiency of SEZ but as important is international economic environment outside the country. Among European countries France has created a very attractive investment climate. It uses a net of technological parks and fiscal reliefs for high-technological investments. Deep labour market is very important. This solution should be an example for Poland in the changes of our investment policy.
