Summary/Abstract: In Poland, with its well developed network of settlements, there are approximately 20 largest cities with population of over 200.000. They include the largest Polish metropolises, capitals of voivodeships and centres for the country’s socio-economic development. Not all of them, however, are developing at the same pace, thus an attempt could be made at creating a ranking which would rate the largest cities’ attractiveness. This paper makes no such attempt, but it makes an effort to hint at a certain hierarchy based on selected measurement methods. The conclusions of this study support the classification of Poland’s biggest cities’ attractiveness that has already been established through other analyses, and they also provide additional evidence for the validity of existing rankings.
