Infraction of the narcotic Substance regime as a Crime according to the Art. 354a, para 1 from the Penal Code

Summary/Abstract: CRIMINAL LAW // Art. 354a, para. 1 of the Penal Code provides anyone who, without due permit produces, processes, acquires, distributes, stores, keeps, transport or carries narcotic substances or their analogues shall be punished for high-risk narcotic substances by imprisonment. The article examines the characteristics of those criminal acts and the compliance of the Bulgarian legislation to European Union regulations and international law. In addition the article analyses Bulgarian current judicial practice.
