The Economical Modernization and the Market Economy’s Ethic

Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the Romanian transition from socialism to capitalism, in terms of economical modernization and the ethic of market’s economy. Highlighting different aspects as: the definition of Romanian economy as a post-communist/pre-modern economy, the analysis of a real modern economy’s characteristics, the description of commandments of the market’s economy ethic, state’s responsibility and the consequences of an ethical attitude of governance, the paper concludes that the economic modernization is a purpose which includes the respect for the ethic of market’s economy.
