Summary/Abstract: When Lithuania joined the EU migration of qualified workers has increased because many people went abroad to work. Shortage of competent employees has become a problem: commercial success in a rather chaotic environment often depends on employees’ talents and efforts. In February 2006 a research was carried out in Lintel company in order to find out how the staff of JSC Lintel rated the system of motivation applied in the organization so that its main goals were reached: satisfaction of customers’ needs, increase in the value because of an incentive (telephone) and guarantee of the survival of the organization. 250 employees, 50 executives and 200 staff members from the company Lintel participated in a survey. The survey showed that applying the motivation system Premium in the company Lintel its employees are informed about the company’s goals, achievements and strategy. Research results showed that the system is acceptable for the employees but it has a number of shortages in it. The employees are not satisfied with their salaries as the executives know little about their needs and efficient stimulating mean is cash Premium.
