Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the relationships between the Octobrist party and lib-eral press at the beginning of the 20th century, and mostly the newspaper “Novoe Vremya”. The article shows the party policy transformation depending on the change of external situation, and in this connection the reflection of these changes in the press may be seen.
