Summary/Abstract: In the introduction of this study the author presents the most important personalities of the history the Czech Trinitarian Theology, who had written before Josef Pospišil started. The author explains the reasons of this study and presents the basic hermeneutical points of view of his analysis. Then he introduces the life and Josef Pospišil’s work, who was very important Czech Christian thinker of this period 1845–1926. Author aimed to two Pospišil’s texts which deal with the Trinitarian Theology. The work of Pospišil is characterized by methodological discipline, knowledge the co-temporary literature and very good language level. At the same time it is obvious that his thinking suffers from the same deficiencies which were typical for Dogmatic Theology of his era, but in Pospišil’s work there are some elements which are actual up to these days.
