Summary/Abstract: The aim of the present article is it to focus on the question of the connection of verbal prefixes with the Aspect of the verb in Modern Bulgarian. According to the author of the research, Associate professor Dr. Maria Zhereva, in the last years this question seems to escape from the attention of linguists (with some exceptions which Zhereva draws attention to). The other issue being focused on, is the perception of the same connection as consequence of the historical development of the studies of the prefixes
