Summary/Abstract: The present paper is dealing with some of the aspects of tumular landscape in the Čačak region, Serbia. The microlocation of the Iron Age mounds, their number, shape, roots and symbolics were analysed, as well as the relation with the other contemporaneous sites from the same area. Having in mind all these different aspects, several regularities were established in relation to the foundation of the necropolises under the mounds in this region.
