Summary/Abstract: The objective of the study is to analyze the diversity and transformations in the workforce structure in the European Union member countries, in the period between 2008 and 2009, in economic sectors distinguished by the intensity of R&D activity. The conducted research focused on structural-geographical analyses and applied the shift-share analysis method.
