Summary/Abstract: Lesław Morawiecki, professor at The University of Rzeszow and Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, died on 29 October 2004 after a battle with a severe illness. He was fifty-five years old. Professor Lesław Morawiecki was an outstanding scholar, the author of books and numerous papers about antiquity and a lecturer in the Institute of History at The University of Rzeszow and in the Institute of History at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.
