Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the philological problems which accompany the creation of an electronic database of the Greek-Slavic lexical counterparts excerpted from medieval translations. These problems have resulted from the specifics that the Byzantine and Slavic sources have, on the one hand, and from the state of the studies in lexicography and text criticism, on the other.
