The impact of business changes on the budgets of the metropolises in Poland

Summary/Abstract: In every economy there are alternating periods of speeding up and slowing down the pace of economic growth. The crisis phenomena bring in tensions in public sector in every country. The financial difficulties which appeared in recent years in the global aspect affected the functioning of entities of territorial self-government in Poland. The purpose of this article is to analyze the strength of impact of business changes on the budget situation of 12 metropolises.
