Summary/Abstract: Poetry is the most noticeable moment in literary life of Ibrahim Kajan. Presence of Mostar and Herzegovina, his native land, and especially his “home”, as a prevailing element in Kajan’s topics, as well as motifs of Sufi poetry are some of characteristics of Kajan’s poetical world. Reintroduction of oriental poetical tradition in Kajan’s poetry resulted in a so-called “Religious poetry of modernism.”
