Summary/Abstract: The article is concerned with the Bible-musical leitmotif “song of songs” present in the early works of Platonov written in 1910–1920. Based on the principle of counterpoint the leitmotif includes in itself both a traditional Bible-Christian content and revolutionary-utopian one. A special role played by the leading motive is conditioned by the musical principle of perception on which Platonov’s artistic philosophy is based.
