Summary/Abstract: Using the figurative word “prisoner’s dilemma”, which reflects tension between motivation for cooperation and egoism, the author tries to identify mechanism of production of “collectivistic” ethnical cooperation, which is inducted by ethnopolitical oligarchies in the context of pre-electoral campaigns or generally in political crisis. Mechanism of ethnical homogenization – leading pre-electoral campaigns in the context of hate speech, incidents, promotion of distrust, narration of “survival in jeopardy” – as shown by the author – manage to replace individual with collective preferences in the time of crisis and thus to cause “irrational” voting preferences in favor of “democratically problematic” political parties.
