Summary/Abstract: The youth are strongly concerned both by the difficulties to find a job and by the uses of new technologies. Thanks to their abilities, developed during private practices, they now appear able to search and sometimes to find professional information and offers more easily than during the past. However, their uses are different from one to another according to social origins or studies for example. From a professional point of view, not all youngsters need to be on a business networking site such as LinkedIn. Indeed, jobs related to new media are strongly present online whereas teachers or civil agents are not so. By joining a social networking site, professional or not, the youth need to adapt their network and what they say in it. Privacy is indeed an important subject of discussion nowadays. Of course, the web can be used in order to find a job. Some can find offers or create a network for example. But, as the recent affairs testified, publications on a SNS are also a legal object when an employee is being fired because of uncalledfor messages among his own private network.
