Summary/Abstract: Realizing curricular huge attention is paid to evaluation. Both during educational process as well as examinations there appear a problem of objective evaluation. During examination there especially important to agree upon a consentient evaluation, i.e. evaluators have to strictly follow the agreed norms of evaluation. Two kinds of agreement have to be followed during evaluation of tasks of the Lithuanian language: part of the tasks is evaluated following quite formai criteria that are not difficult to follow, and the objectivity of evaluation is not a problem (such is evaluation of grammar tasks). On the other hand, evaluation of perception of a text and tasks of text creation are always a bit subjective: it is not always possible to describe evaluation criteria; moreover, the attitude of every evaluator makes a certain influence. During an examination the work of every student is checked at least twice: when the second evaluator sees the mistakes marked by the first evaluator it is very much possible to double a mistake, i.e. the second evaluator sometimes mechanically repeats the evaluation of the first one or agrees with him being not absolutely sure of his rightness. Seeking for the objectivity of evaluation it would be advisable to apply such a system of evaluation when the second evaluator dos not see the marked mistakes of the first one. In April 2006 a test was performed with the aim to check if graduates of schools with the Lithuanian language of instruction and graduates of schools with the language of instruction of national minority, following in their studies different curricula with different number of lessons, can compete as equal, i.e. are able to solve the same tasks in the Lithuanian language showing the capacity of the same quality. 1939 students took part in this test (1310 ones from Lithuanian schools and 629 - from schools of national minorities). In autumn the test was repeated: 500 works were tested with the aim to check what the difference was betvveen evaluations when evaluations were not dependable from each other, i.e. the second evaluator did not see the corrected mistakes of the first evaluator. During the second evaluation the works of students were evaluated according the same criteria as during the first time. In this case it was not essential the works of what school graduates (the Lithuanian language or the national minority) were checked. The aim of this artide is to analyze if two undependable evaluations are possible while evaluating the tasks of perception of text of the native Lithuanian language and tasks of text creation. The objective of the research was the analysis of the first and the second evaluation of five hundred (500) tests. Hypothesis of the research - it is supposed that an independent evaluation is possible while evaluating the task of perception of text and criteria of text structure and literacy of the task of text creation. Methods of research - analytical descriptive...
