Populism – an Overlooked Ideology?

Summary/Abstract: The main goal of the article is to analyses a populism as ideology. The term populism was differently reflected by Ernesto Laclau and Margaret Canovan. Both approaches to ideology are reflected in the text. But main attention will be given to promoters of the populism as a „thin“ ideology starting with heartland introduced by Paul Taggart and more deeply reflected by Cas Mudde.
