Summary/Abstract: The following text presents Jadwiga Nowak’s publications in “The Pedagogical Quarterly” in the 1970s and 1980s. The content of individual articles is presented, with special emphasis on Jadwiga Nowak’s innovative way of thinking about adult education, the role the workplace has in adapting recent graduates to work, as well as the state of andragogical theories and empirical research. The article highlights Jadwiga Nowak’s innovation and critical thinking, as well as the originality of the solutions she proposed.
