Summary/Abstract: Author deals with cameralism that showed up in the late 17th century in the countries where German language was the official language. Although the cameralism-period did not last very long time (practically till the half of the 19th century but it was criticized already earlier in theoretical perspective), besides its undisputable impact on practical exercise of a state administration in those countries, it is understood by some present authors either as a basis of new “administrative science”, which was developed in the 19th century in the conditions of continental European countries, or even as a “starting point” of development of a modern political science.
