Summary/Abstract: The present paper discusses some of the research findings about relationships between emotion regulation strategies, narrative inclination and job performance. The article presents the data from the study conducted among call centre agents working in environment that involves high skills in coping with emotions. The data indicate a negative correlation between suppression and job performance.
