Another Perspective on the Problem of the Non-Response Rate in the Sociological Research

Summary/Abstract: This paper attempts to answer the question how large have to be the tolerable non-response rate in the sociological research. The problem is studied through the paradigm of Bayesian statistics. Two equations are displayed – the first one allows to be pre-planned the tolerable non-response rate. The second one allows to be evaluated the range of discrepancy in estimates between realized and planned sample when the field study is already completed.
