Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results of the Bulgarian part of a study conducted at five universities in four countries. The aim of the research was to see teachers’ and students’ attitude to learning in an online environment. The study was performed applying Q-methodology. In Bulgaria, three teachers’ discourses and three students’ discourses were identified. For both groups, one of the discourses values more traditional education, in which face-to-face learning is found to be superior to online learning, and the second one is characterized by a high degree of approval of online learning. The third discourse for both of the researched groups stands between the first and the second one.
