Summary/Abstract: This is the introduction to a special part of Jezikoslovlje 6.1-2 on phraseology. The volume is intended as a cross-section of current developments in phraseology, with five representative papers which, although all start from different theoretical bias, namely cognitive, culture-based, computational and corpus-based, lexicographic and methodological, or crosslinguistic perspectives, have phraseology at their core.
