Summary/Abstract: One of the most important question at present times is a question concerning educational role of parents especially fundamental truths about their rights in bringing up their children. The article discusses truths related to a family as a basic educational environment. A motive for choosing The Book of Proverbs to some analysis about this is a fact that this source is a part of The Old Testament and it is the underlying cause of educational systems formulation. Main themes include: parents‘ rights to bring up children, parents‘ dignity as tutors and childrens‘ improper behaviour towards their parents.
