Summary/Abstract: The paper analysis the way in which Mircea Eliade is receptive and takes over in a creative manner the amor fati formula, which Nietzsche uses in order to express the modality to overtake the nihilism. The German philosopher analysis in detail this European phenomenon and finds its roots in the enlightenment rationalism. The amor fati formula whereby Nietzsche understands accepting the existence and destiny, represents a religiosity form that the German philosopher finds in the second part of his life. Mircea Eliade analysis this formula, as is appears at the German philosopher; the roman researcher sees in it a manifestation from of the sacredness whereby the human can pass the lack of existence meaning and history terror. The faithfulness destiny and ist acceptance is also a specific attitude fort he Romanian people, Mircea Eliade bringing in this content decisive examples from popular Romanian literature.
