Summary/Abstract: In the following lines we offer to the interested scholars some data regarding the discovery of a few archaeobotanical finds in the settlement of Stoicani-Aldeni type, from Mălăieştii de Jos village, Prahova County. Results of analysis have identified fruits and elder seeds (Sambucus nigra), slightly carbonized and well preserved. We have also noticed the presence in this settlement of a few burnt adobe fragments conserving deciduous leaf imprints. There is only one imprint that seems to have been made by beech tree (Fagus silvatica) leaf. The discovery of this archaeobotanical material in a secure archaeological context, justifies its publication separately from the other materials. This collection is the first of this kind in the Stoicani-Aldeni aspect.
