Summary/Abstract: The modern way of establishing the social, political, and social structures suggests the possibility of vampirism can be interpreted as a phenomenon and a phenomenon that has many points of contact with social reality, especially in the Balkans. Metaphorical meaning is concentrated in the handling and implementation of the objectives of the social, political and other groups and institutions that aspire to domination and needing energy to achieve their goals. Target groups or can be treated as victims of "vamiristic" strategy, through which energy is in some sort, and it certainly, affects the course of life and pave new directions in building cultural setting.the ambiance of Balkan culture and social trends, the novel "Vampire" by Croatian artist Boris Peric reflect actual constellation of forces through a metaphorical model that can be a benchmark for each transitional and posttransitional society in the Balkans.
