Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this paper is to identify the attitudes of managers to support the renewal of companies. The article attempts to describe the positions that leadership should assume at the time of renewal and which skills the management should improve to ensure effective functioning of the whole organisation. It is also important to notice that the condition for the renewal of a company includes the efficient and effective management of people, and the change is not complete without a strategic leadership role. The considerations presented in the study are of theoretical-empirical character and they are based on management related literature and empirical studies.
