Aleksandër Moisiu – an Albanian famous actor in the world – in foreign documents

Summary/Abstract: Aleksandër Mojsiu (Alexander Moisi) was and is considered as one of the most famous theatre actors of the beginning of XX century. He is presented everywhere in foreign literature as “a German actor”, because his artistic career and culmination of his rise and professional affirmation reached with “Artistic ensemble of Max Reinhardt” acting most of the time on the stages – theatres of Germany, Austria and Italy. Aleksandër Mojsiu owing to his born natural talent, to Joseph Keinz and Max Reinhardt, rose to the zenith of a world famous and admired actor. Aleksandër Mojsiu was proud of his Albanian origin, and he unfolded his origin in newspapers and interviews of the Western press. Aleksandër Mojsiu died early, at the time when he became a charming and most required actor. Anyhow, he was and he remains an indelible actor of theatre and of stage, a rare master of mimics, motion and interpretation. The name of Aleksandër Mojsiu has been written with golden letters in theatre art and the world artistic stage and especially in History of Albanian people Culture.
