Summary/Abstract: “Let us recognise the great sons of Albanian people” Albanian people, one of the most ancient people of the Balkans, Illyrian-Pelasgian’s descendants has given to the history of civilisation great and well-known personalities. In this sense, from the bosom (sucking) of this people appeared many well-known statesmen of the Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, Ottoman Empire and many other states all around the Balkans, who proved to be clever diplomats, respected clergymen, distinguished war strategists, brilliant persons of writing, culture and arts. One of them is Gjergj Dhimitër Bashta as well.
