Summary/Abstract: In this article, the author draws attention on a type of metal pendant found in hoards and settlements from eastern Romania, the Republic of Moldavia and Ukraine. Regarding terminology, the author favoured the name of cruciform pendants with triangular plate and circular arms. These pieces have two main versions: A and B, with different quantitative representation. Furthermore the article shares some details about the dynamics of these pieces, as it was observed that their greater majority is found across the territory between the Carpathians and the middle and upper Dniester River. The article also presents some technological aspects (including some metallographic analyses). Compared to other types of metal pieces, the pendants discussed here are rather scarce, and are found mainly in hoards. At these archaeological sites, the pendants are associated with other types of ornaments, but also with tools and weapons, in different proportions, varying from one case to another. Chronologically, these ornaments are specific to Br. D and appear in Coslogeni, Noua and Sabatinovka cultural environments.
