Summary/Abstract: Abstract: Worlds Hidden in Words: Behind and Beyond the Bars The real life-giving elements of acting are the “Rigolettos”, near whose buffoonery the blood-curdling sobbing of existence reaches its echoes far in the ether. What in Verdi’s opera is going to happen is also said in other works and we say all together the final sentence of Leoncavallo’s opera called Der Bajazzo: La commedia è finita! Nero’s very common saying − Panem et circenses – is still tempting us in many circumstances. We do not know how much each-one earns for living, but one thing we know for sure: starting with tabloids, press-scandals, unprintable political argues, if we want fuss, than we should not focus on performance arts, but on the surrounding world’s tossing and on the advertising campaign. What could the playwright, the stage director and the actor do before and after 1989 in order to present to the public a comedy or tragedy without playing the fool. If we notice the words’ abstract meaning, or absolute value, then at once the Huszka song from the Gül baba will stand in front of us with is multiple meaning, so we could look upon heaven, but also far away on the ground, and while wondering, we could sing: Beyond the bars, there is other world…
