SAMOOCENA, ORIENTACJE SPOŁECZNE I ORIENTACJE KONTROLI. STUDIUM LITERATUROWE
SELF-ESTEEM, SOCIAL ORIENTATIONS AND CONTROL PREFERENCES. A LITERATURE STUDY

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the theoretical perspective of self-esteem, social orientations and control preferences. There is an increasing recognition that those personality dispositions play an important role in the relationships with other people. Major trends of research are shown, the result of which might be implemented in the educational process as well as the author’s explorative study results are presented. The current paper can make a background to the author’s correlative study on self-esteem, social orientations and control preferences among the students in the last years of secondary schools. Such findings have not been found though they seem to be useful and important.
