Summary/Abstract: This paper’s aim is a description of general tendencies and directions in investment in Łódź and Łódź region during the last few years. The analysis is related to three basic ways of FDI placement: Special Economic District, the council of the city of Łódź, and the council of the mayor of Łódź.
